The Exploration! Investigation! box is an Archaeology themed resource which acts as a toolkit for teachers, students, science clubs, citizen science projects and outside the classroom learning. The box can be used as a resource tool for supporting cross-curricula themes from History, Geography, Science, Design and Technology, through to creative ways of incorporating maths and literacy. The activities are hands-on, minds-on inquiry based investigations, which contribute to:
- Managing Information;
- Thinking, Problem-Solving and Decision-Making;
- Being Creative;
- Connected learning;
- Analysing patterns and relationships;
- Experimenting with ideas;
- Working with Others;
- Become more self-directed in their learning.
The subject themes fall under Evidence Based Theories, Methodology and Practice, with projects to support the national curriculum standards and out of the classroom learning. The Exploration! Investigation! resources have been designed to support teachers, young people and adult learners in their acquisition and development of knowledge, complex skill building and personal capabilities.
